Shahid Kapoor ousts Boman Irani and Riteish Deshmukh?

The International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) awards have become one of the most coveted award��ceremonies��in Bollywood in their 12 years. In recent times, Boman Irani and Riteish Deshmukh have provided attendees from inside and outside the film fraternity as well as fans a comical treat as award hosts. This, it seems, may not be the case this year as Shahid Kapoor is rumoured to be replacing the duo.

The 13th IIFAs will be held in Singapore next month and, as reported by NDTV, Kapoor is set to be the main event host with snippets also being covered by the likes of Shah Rukh Khan and also Hrithik Roshan.

The IIFA weekend will be taking place on the weekend of 7th-9th June and, as always, is likley to see the attendance of the cream of the Bollywood film fraternity. Aside from the main event, organisers Wizcraft International Entertainment have also been known to put on various relating events dedicated to the celebration of��Indian cinema. There is no doubt that this year may just be one of the most special IIFAs what with the industry marking��a century��this year.
