Shahid Kapoor opposite Parineeti Chopra in ‘Udta Punjab’?

While rumours of Priyanka Chopra starring opposite Shahid Kapoor have been refuted by director Abhishek Chaubey, it looks likely her cousin Parineeti Chopra will be paired opposite the Bollywood hunk.

The film in question ‘Udta Punjab’ has been regularly reported about. Only Kapoor has been confirmed for the film so far. However, Filmfare reports that the director is said to be a fan of Parineeti and is trying his level best to get her to star in his film.

This will be the first time Shahid and Parineeti will be seen on-screen together, if the news turns out to be true.
