The failure of a film would understandably upset its cast and crew, owing to the amount of hard work that goes into making any film. Actor Shahid Kapoor, who faced failure with ‘Shaandaar’ (2015), which cameshortly afterhis career-high with ‘Haider’ (2014), admitsto being hurt.
When questioned about the failure in an interview with DNA India, Kapoor expressed, “Everyone gets hurt if their films don۪t work. We work hard to make a film and present it to the audience. It۪s by us for them. And if they don۪t like it, that۪s the biggest loss. But I have learnt one thing in all these years from what I have done. That you should not lose out on opportunities because of your fears!”
Kapoor will next be seen in Abhishek Chaubey’s ‘Udta Punjab’ and Vishal Bhardwaj’s ‘Rangoon’.
