Shahid Kapoor on ‘Kabir Singh’: “Remaking iconic film is stressful”

Shahid Kapoor has had his head down working on his next ‘Kabir Singh’, which has now 70 per cent complete.

The film is a remake of Telugu blockbuster ‘Arjun Reddy’. Talking about the stress in making the film, he was cited in Mid-Day saying, “I am having a great time. I think ‘Kabir Singh’ is very special and ‘Arjun Reddy’ was amazing. As such it’s very stressful making the remake, especially when it has been loved so much.”

He added, “I am playing a challenging role. It releases on June 21. We all are super excited.”
