Shahid Kapoor on fatherhood: “It will be tough to leave home”

Shahid Kapoor is all ready to embrace fatherhood. He is awaiting the birth of his first child with wife Mira. With projects that take him all over the world, Kapoor does admit that it will be hard for him.

To Hindustan Times, he said, “It will be tough to leave home for a few months (smiles), as the first year of having a baby is the cutest. So, it would be difficult to leave the baby.” On being a good father, he said, “We will discover that. That’s the fun of it, to find out things as they come along.”

Kapoor is being appreciated for his role as rock star Tommy Singh in his recently released ‘Udta Punjab’ (2016).
