Shahid Kapoor on not being insecure

A lot has been written about the so-called rivalry between Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s epic ‘Padmaavat’.

Kapoor, who played the hero in the film, was somewhat overshadowed by Singh’s performance as the anti-hero. Even though the latter has been praised for his unusual character, Kapoor has spoke out about insecurities and inhibitions that have been recently linked with him.

He was cited in Hindustan Times saying, “The idea is just to keep going. Zyaada aage ki sochne ki zarurat nahi hai (There is no need to think too far ahead). I like to immerse my energy into whatever I have in my hand, but I’m open to new challenges. So, there are no problems, no fears, no inhibitions, and no insecurities.”

Kapoor is already preparing for his next ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’ helmed by Shree Narayan Singh.
