Shahid Kapoor not insecure about Ranveer Singh

They are both big favourites for audiences and soon they will both be seen sharing the screen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmavati’. However, Shahid Kapoor sees his co-star Ranveer Singh anything but a rival.

Talking to the media, the actor was asked about how he felt about a rivalry with Singh. “If you are insecure as a person then you will be insecure in any situation. If you are a secure person and if you are sure about yourself then nothing matters,” Deccan Chronicle reports Kapoor expressing.

“I am very much sure about myself and my work. I will feel insecure only when I feel I will be lesser than somebody, but I don’t think I am lesser than anybody. I am not here to say I am better than anybody but definitely I’m not lesser,” he added.

Talking about working with Bhansali’s, Kapoor said, “I feel this is the most exciting opportunity of my career so far. It is an amazing opportunity. I think I have never had such great time with any filmmaker.”

Also starring Deepika Padukone, ‘Padmavati’ is set to release on 17th November.
