Shahid Kapoor not in support of Facebook’s ‘dislike’ feature

Since Mark Zuckerberg’s announcement that the popular social networking site, Facebook, would soon be launching a ‘dislike’ button, the online world has been flooded with reactions both in favour and against ��this update. ��Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor is not in support of this change, as he feels it will endorse negativity.

Absolute India quote the actor as saying, “I don’t support it because it spreads negativity and I think there is already too much of negativity online… I think that some people are just venting their frustration online.”

It can be noted that social media websites have become a vital platform for movie promotions, as well as allowing celebrities to interact with both their fans and detractors.

On the work front, Kapoor is looking forward to the release of his upcoming film, ‘Shaandaar’, opposite Alia Bhatt. ��The film releases on October 22nd.
