Shahid Kapoor & Katrina Kaif paired for ‘Aankhen 2’?

The first movie starred Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Arjun Rampal, Paresh Rawal and Sushmita Sen. Reports suggest that film maker Aneez Bazmee, is set to make a sequel to ‘Aankhen’ (2002), and is already in talks with a fresh pair to play the leads.

As reported by Pinkvilla, Bazmee wants to sign Shahid Kapoor opposite Katrina Kaif, as well as another big name. “‘Aankhen 2’ will star Shahid Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Amitabh Bachchan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the lead,” a source was reported revealing.

However, not yet ready to bare the details, when contacted, the filmmaker simply said, “There will be official announcements made on this. But one thing is for sure that without Amitabh Bachchan ‘Aankhen 2’ cannot be made. There are 2-3 other actors also signed. Official announcements will be made about this may be in 15-20 days.”
