Shahid Kapoor hopes friendship with Alia Bhatt is not misconstrued

Shahid Kapoor has been linked up to a number of his co-stars over the years.�� The actor has now gone on record to say while he has become good friends with his present co-star, Alia Bhatt, he hopes their friendship is not misconstrued.

Speaking to Mumbai Mirror, Kapoor said, ���Alia is the most talented person I�۪ve met in my life.�� She�۪s quickly become a good friend despite being much younger than me.�� I hope people understand and respect this and not try to misconstrue it.�۝

Kapoor, who recently bagged the coveted Filmfare trophy for Best Actor for his performance in ��Haider�۪ (2014), also went on to add that shooting for his upcoming film ��Shaandaar�۪ was proving to be a challenge as ���it�۪s difficult when you jump genres�۝.

Being directed by Vikas Bahl, ��Shaandaar�۪ stars Kapoor and Bhatt in lead roles, along with Sanjay Kapoor and Pankaj Kapur.
