Shahid Kapoor denies father looking for bride

Shahid Kapoor has gone on record to deny that his father Pankaj Kapoor is looking for a bride for the heartthrob.

Recently the ‘R…Rajkumar’ star made headlines when a section of the media reported that his father was looking for a bride for him from Punjab.

Shahid said, “I don’t know why people publish such stories. I was in Kashmir shooting for a film and my father was busy with his work. He is not looking for a bride.”

“I will search for a bride and not my father. He selected his life partner and so will I,” added the actor.

“My father goes to Punjab to meet our relatives there and he has his spiritual guru in Punjab and that’s about it,” concluded Shahid.
