Shahid Kapoor confirmed to star in ‘Ashwatthama’

Shahid Kapoor has been confirmed to star as the lead in mythological drama ‘Ashwatthama’ helmed by Vashu Bhagnani’s Puja Entertainment.

The film is based on the Hindu epic ‘Mahabharata’ and depicts the fascinating and tragic tale of Guru Dronacharya’s son, Ashwatthama.

This will be the first time Kapoor will be seen in a mythological role.
