Today marks a special day for Shahid Kapoor who celebrates 14 years in the illustrious film industry.  The talented actor thanked his fans on social media, saying he still has much to learn.

His fans, known as Shanatics, congratulated the star on social media for this milestone to which he promptly replied ““Thanks peeps for the many wishes. 14 years of doing what I love. Beauty of cinema, you always feel like a student. Too much to learn.”  NewIndianExpress.com also reported that he went onto thank his fans for believing in him and he feels he still has much to achieve.

Making his debut in Ken Ghosh’s ‘Ishq Vishk’ (2003), Kapoor has witnessed failure and success in his journey so far.   With acclaimed performances in ‘Jab We Met’ (2007), ‘Kaminey’ (2009), ‘Haider’ (2014) and more recently ‘Udta Punjab’ (2016) there is no doubt of his supreme talent, despite mixed commercial successes.

Kapoor will be next seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmavati’ alongside Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone.

BizAsiaLive.com offers its heartiest congratulations to the actor on his journey so far.
