Shahid Kapoor approached for another South remake?

Shahid Kapoor, after last year’s ‘Kabir Singh’, will be seen in the upcoming remake of Telugu film ‘Jersey’ (2019). Now it’s emerged that he could also be seen in another South cinema remake.

‘Soorarai Pottru’, a film about GR Gopinath, who pioneered low-cost aviation in the sub-continent is due to release this year, having been delayed a few months due to coronavirus. Filmfare reports that Kapoor has been sent a script for the film’s Hindi version.

Kapoor’s nod will be awaited as the rest of the cast is thought to be finalised once the lead actor has signed on the dotted line.
