Shaheer Sheikh to play Manav in ‘Pavitra Rishta 2.0’?

With ‘Pavitra Rishta’ being a show that Sushant Singh Rajput is most known for in his TV career, it’s emerged that ‘Pavitra Rirhsta 2.0’ is possibly being planned and could see Shaheer Sheikh in the role essayed originally by Singh Rajput.

A source close to the development shared with Pinkvilla, “Shaheer Sheikh has come on board Pavitra Rishta 2.0 to portray the iconic character of Manav. Ankita will be back to play Archana again after 7 long years. The other cast members will be locked soon”.

The publication reports that Ekta Kapoor and Ankita Lokhande thought about a reboot for the show after Singh Rajput passed last year and it’s taken them some time to agree on a script, it seems.

It’s also being said that the show will be seen on an OTT platform.
