After the runaway success ‘Chennai Express’ (2013), its all eyes on Shah Rukh Khan’s next ‘Happy New Year’, which is reported to have cashed in around Rs. 200 crore even before the film hits cinemas.

According to Bollywood Hungama, the Khan-Deepika Padukone starrer, directed by Farah Khan, has been committed a Minimum Guarantee of a huge Rs. 125 crores towards the worldwide theatrical release by distributor, Yash Raj Films.

If that wasn’t enough, the satellite TV rights of the film have been acquired by ZEE Network for a massive Rs. 65 crores, while the music rights have been awarded to T-Series for Rs. 12 crores.

It seems ‘Happy New Year’ is already turning out to be a bigger success than ‘Chennai Express’ and that too before the film’s release.
