Shah Rukh Khan working on Gujarati accent for ‘Raees’

Shah Rukh Khan, who is currently busy with Maneesh Sharma’s ‘Fan’, will soon start work on Excel Entertainment’s ‘Raees’. ��The director of the film says the team have already started work on Khan’s look and accent for the film, as he will be playing a Gujarati character.

���He plays a man from the ghetto in Gujarat. He will dress and speak in a particular manner��_ His characters started off as a real-life person. But as we wrote and re-wrote several drafts of the script Shah Rukh’s character become more and more fictional,�۝ Director Rahul Dholakia told��DNA India.

‘Raees’ will see Khan in the role of a Gujarati gangster and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the role of a cop. ��The film also marks the Bollywood debut of Pakistani star Mahira Khan, who is paired opposite Khan.
