After the super success of ‘Chennai Express’, Shah Rukh Khan has once again become the most sought after actors, with ‘Shudh Desi Romance’ director, Maneesh Sharma trying to lure him for his next film.
Apparently, King Khan and Sharma go back a long way. He was the assistant director on the sets of 2008 film ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’ which marked Anushka Sharma’s debut.
A source told Times Of India, “Shah Rukh devotes 7-8 days to hear a bound script and he spends a lot of time on the material and interacts with the director at length. Sharma too got ample of time with the actor while narrating the script. It has turned out well and the actor is interested.”
“Shah Rukh hasn’t taken a final call yet. He is doing Rahul Dholakia’s film for sure which is produced by Farhan Akhtar’s company. Sharma’s film will be produced by Red Chillies Entertainment if all goes as planned. He will slowly take calls on other offers by Anurag Kashyap, R Balki whose script he has already heard,” added the source.
