Shah Rukh Khan to acquire Indian remake rights for ‘Breaking Bad’

SRK 2

Shah Rukh Khan is reportedly planning to remake the international television series, ‘Breaking Bad’ and is already in talks to acquire the rights.

Khan feels that India’s television audience won’t accept the story revolving around meth, drugs and the mafia and hence he is planning to present it through a film. He told IANS, “The story of a man who is going to die and takes a chance to save his family is a good premise for a feature film.”

The actor even feels that he is in the right age to portray roles like Walter White onscreen.

On the film front, Khan is busy promoting his upcoming Rohit Shetty directorial film, ‘Dilwale’ in which he will be seen romancing Kajol. Also starring Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon, the film is scheduled to release on 18th December.
