Shah Rukh Khan “shy of girls”?

With a career spanning over 25 years, Shah Rukh Khan has very rightly gained the title of the King of Romance. However in reality the actor is in fact very shy when it comes to women.

“I am conscious of posing with girls. I am shy of girls. I did feel very awkward doing film magazine covers with heroines because I thought I was wasting their time. I can do a picture very nicely in character, like ‘Raees’, but I am very awkward posing in.” Times of India reports the actor expressing.

Apparently early on in his career, the actor had expressed how he would feel uncomfortable doing a photo-shoot with actresses, as he would feel it would cause a scandal. When asked about this, Khan explained, “I find that very odd. I still need to get over that. Most of the girls are my friends, so if we are standing and doing a picture I will be happy with that.”

“I have no worry that people will mistake it for anything, some people may and that’s alright, but I still get awkward posing with an actress, or a model. If it is not a film, I feel awkward because I don’t know how to pose,” he added.

Well it’s fair to say that despite his concerns, Khan pulls it off extremely well. His next release titled ‘Raees’ will introduce Pakistani actress Mahira Khan, who seems to have sizzling on screen chemistry with King Khan. The film is set to hit the big screens on 25th January.
