Shah Rukh Khan replaced by Farhan Akhtar

Their friendship has always been strong and they have collaborated at various levels in their respective careers. However, it�۪s easy to forget that they are pitted against each other in the performance arena too. Shah Rukh Khan and Farhan Akhtar could be considered for the same project and they were indeed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra. Khan opted out and Akhtar stepped up.

The project in question is one that Khan was the first choice for but due to their being too many gimmicky computer graphics, he decided against being a part of it. Akhtar was since approached and has taken it up.

Sources claim that Khan is keen to work with Chopra in the future.
