Shah Rukh Khan mulls through 18 script narrations during lockdown?

The coronavirus lockdown may have halted Hindi film shoots but this hasn’t stopped Shah Rukh Khan from working. The actor has been using this time productively to take in approximately 18 script narrations. Rumour has it that he’ll be working in three or four of them as lead actor, and could produce some others as well.

Deccan Chronicle reveals a source saying that, “These include scripts from Raj Kumar Hirani, Siddharth Anand, Raj & D.K., Atlee Kumar, Tigmanshu Dhulia, Amit Ravindranath Sharma, Madhur Bhandarkar, Ali Abbas Zafar, Shimit Amin and Amar Kaushik. Some are films and the others are web shows. While no paperwork has been done and no final decisions have been taken, there are reports that an OTT major other than Netflix has sent feelers to King Khan to make content for them as well.”

As per reports, Kumar has given Khan an action script, and Hirani has pitched a Punjab to Canada migration script. Dhulia has sent a script on Shiv Kumar Patel dubbed ‘Dadua – The Dacoit’, for Khan to produce. Zafar has asked Khan to work on a sports biopic. Amin has approached him for a web series on Girmitiyas.

Khan’s ‘Class of ’83’ starring Bobby Deol has been announced as a Netflix original for release soon and his ‘Kahaani’ (2012) spinoff ‘Bob Biswas’, starring Abhishek Bachchan, will be released after the shooting, paused due to the lockdown, is complete.
