Shah Rukh Khan has admitted that his acting in ‘Happy New Year’ doesn’t deserve an award nomination.

Talking to an Indian news publication, Khan said, “I haven’t acted well enough. I don’t think I should be nominated. I did one film last year and since I have hosted two shows I know there are seven others or rather seventy other people who are better than me. I cannot be nominated for acting for Happy New Year. Yes, the film has done very well but as an actor I don’t think I deserve to be nominated.”

The news emerged after Khan was missing from Best Actor in a Leading Role (Male) category. Nominees in the list include Hrithik Roshan (Bang Bang), Aamir Khan (PK), Shahid Kapoor (Haider), Akshay Kumar (Holiday) and Randeep Hooda (Rang Rasiya).
