Shah Rukh Khan bags Eid 2015 release for ‘Fan’

The Eid, Diwali and Christmas slots in any one year are always well regarded for box office success and makers often aim for their films to be ready for those dates. Interestingly, Shah Rukh Khan�۪s ��Chennai Express�۪ was released during Eid last year and saw much record-breaking success, which Salman Khan had enjoyed in previous years with a number of films. It seems Shah Rukh is hoping to take advantage of the Eid holiday once again in 2015 and BizAsia can reveal that his forthcoming ��Fan�۪ will be releasing then.

Produced by Yash Raj Films, ��Fan�۪ has gone on the floors today, according to Bollywood Hungama. A puja was held to kickstart the schedule for the film which Shah Rukh will be giving his time to post the release of ��Happy New Year�۪ next month. He was initially going to be working on Rahul Dholakia directed ��Raees�۪ first but now, as ��Fan�۪ will be releasing earlier, the actor will be looking to complete that as a priority.

Maneesh Sharma will be directing ��Fan�۪ which is written by Habib Faisal.
