Shah Rukh Khan approaches composer Ram Sampath for ‘Raees’

The much talked about Shah Rukh Khan and Farhan Akhtar venture ‘Raees’ is finally picking up steam.

According to Bollywood Hungama, Khan has approached music composer Ram Sampath, who has composed for Aamir Khan’s hit TV series ‘ Satyamev Jayate’ including films like ‘Delhi Belly’ (2011) and ‘Talaash’ (2012).

The action drama film is set in Gujarat and features Khan as a bootlegger while Akhtar plays the role of a cop in the film. However, the lead actress of the film has yet to be finalised.

‘Raees’ is produced by Excel Entertainment and directed by Rahul Dholakia. The movie will go on floors from 1st November and is scheduled to hit theaters next year.
