Shaan quits Sa Re Ga Ma Pa (but will be back!)

ZEE TV’s hugely popular show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa could be in trouble after its host decided to take a break from the show from next week.

Singer Shaan, who has been fronting the show for the past three years helped turn around ZEE TV’s fortunes recently with the success of the ‘Challenge 2005’ series earlier this year.

Rumours have been rife on Shaan’s plans to leave the long running singing competition show. With Shaan’s sudden departure, the fate of the current series ‘Ek Main Aur Ek Tu’ doesn’t look good. Even though Shaan vows he will return to the ZEE show, no reasons were given on his decision. A search for the replacement is on…

At the time of publishing this article, a replacement was still not confirmed. Programme producer Gajendra Singh is to make an announcement on the new host during this weekend.
