Shaadi No.1 finds its way on STAR Plus

Three movies were released at the Indian box office this past Diwali – Kyon Ki, Garam Masala and Shaadi No.1 – the first two have been snapped up by ZEE Network…who has the third?

Well, we can reveal that STAR Plus has grabbed hold of the rights of Shaadi No.1, which stars Sanjay Dutt, Zayed Khan, Fardeen Khan and Ayesha Thakia.

The romantic comedy didn?t fare so well at the box office but may bring in the viewers to STAR Plus when it gets it screening early next year.

No big surprise as STAR currently holds the rights to many of Vashu Bhagnani’s past and present movies. As revealed exclusively on Biz Asia earlier this year, the channel will be showing films like Silsiley, Coolie No 1, Hero No 1 and Om Jai Jagadish in months to come.
