SET Max begins full video testing on Sky

SET Max has begun full video and audio testing on Sky Digital ahead of its official launch later this month.

SET Max, Sony Entertainment Television Asia’s movie and concerts channel has proved immensely popular in India due to the broadcaster’s line-up of cricket and top movies. However, legal issues will refrain the channel to show certain cricket tournaments in the UK. Instead the channel will compete directly with ZEE Cinema and B4U Movies by screening blockbuster movies and live concerts round the clock.

SET Max will broadcast up to six movies per day.

A date for the channel’s UK debut has not yet been announced, however the dates “Monday 25th July” and “Monday 1st August” seem most likely. We will keep you posted.
