Sequels galore for Anees Bazmee

Sequels and remakes are the order of the day in Bollywood. Just recently BizAsia reported that Anees Bazmee is waiting for Salman Khan to kickstart the sequel to ‘No Entry’ (2005). Now comes news that Bazmee will be directing the sequel of ‘Welcome’ (2007) too.

The sequel aptly titled ‘Welcome Back’ will only commence once��Bazmee is done with ‘No Entry Main Entry’. Speaking to IANS,��he said, “The script for No Entry Main Entry is ready and I will soon narrate the script to Salman bhai.”

There was buzz that the ‘Singh Is Kinng’ (2008) director would also be working on another sequel ‘Hera Pheri 4’ but��he is quick to reply, “I am not making Hera Pheri sequel for some reason, they (director Neeraj Vora and producer Feroz Nadiadwala) are making it.”

No star cast has been decided upon for ‘Welcome Back’ but Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor and Fardeen Khan are all reprising their roles��for ‘No Entry Main Entry’.

Bazmee’s last release was the blockbuster ‘Ready’ (2011). His other project, ‘It’s My Life’, produced by Sanjay Kapoor and featuring Harman Baweja and Genelia D’Souza is still awaiting release��and has been for��the last two years for reasons unknown. Currently the film has a tentative release date��of 27th July 2012.
