Security increased for ‘Mubarakan’ after London attack

The set of ‘Mubarakan’ in London had a sombre atmosphere yesterday following Wednesday’s terror attack in London. A terrorist killed three people and injured scores in a rampage on Parliament.

Athiya Shetty, who stars in the film along with Anil Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor, told media outlets; “Thankfully, everyone is safe. A lot of places in the city have been cordoned off but we weren’t affected by it. We were lucky, but obviously, one can’t help wonder what the world is coming to. It is utterly sad. On set, though, everything is under control.”

Security has also been increased on the set, reports Mid-Day. “We weren’t aware of the attack initially because we were shooting far away from the attack area. But when something like this happens, everyone becomes more careful. Security will certainly be increased for us and across the city as well,” Shetty said.
