Second month of Big Life Ok Now Awards hailed a success
Life OK and 92.7 BIG FM presented the June edition of the monthly award function for the popular Star TV channel.
It showcased yet another evening of high pitch entertainment with its exciting line up of spectacular performances by some of the BIGgest names of Bollywood and Television. India’s youngest heartthrobs, Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan were the face of the second BIG Life OK Now Awards. The duo set the stage on fire with their sizzling chemistry.
Humpty Sharma with his Dulhaniya a.k.a. Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt walked the red carpet and the two had all the cameras go crazy with their charisma. The gorgeous Vidya Balan looked ever stunning in her Manish Malhotra creation. She kept the audience captivated with her impromptu act from Bobby Jasoos. Popular artists Bhagyashree, Eijaz Khan, Rajeshwari Badola and Jay made a grand entry at the red carpet to promote Life OK’s upcoming bold fiction show ‘Laut Aao Trisha’.
Queen of comedy Bharti Singh partnered with television�۪s sweetheart Vivan Bathena as the co-host of the evening. Multitalented Prabhudeva kept the audiences spell bound with his dance moves. For the first time ever Kriti Sanon – the beautiful actress of ‘Heropanti’ ��� gave a scintillating live performance at the BIG Life OK Now Awards. Her co-star, the dashing Tiger Shroff charmed the audience with his Bruce Lee stunts. Sensuous dancer Scarlet who hails from UK paid a tribute to the monsoons with her jhatkas. The show stoppers were Varun and Alia as they grooved to songs from their upcoming movie. Amir Dalvi and Manit Joura performed some daredevil dirt bike stunts while supermodel Jesse Randhawa did a special aerial ring stunt living up to the theme of action and entertainment.
A monthly entertainment award property, the BIG Life OK Now Awards saw some of the most famous artistes come together to perform and entertain the audiences. These unique awards celebrated excellence in films, music and television for the month of May 2014 along with the nominated artists Rajkummar Rao, Himesh Reshammiya, Yo Yo Honey Singh and Tiger Shroff for their respective release. The awards also gave new comers like Kriti Sanon, Patralekha and Zoya Afroz an opportunity to be recognized and applauded for their mind blowing performances. The fight though was clearly between the superhits like ‘Heropanti’, ‘The Xpose’ and ‘CityLights’ for the audience as they voted for their favorite to win the coveted BIG Life OK Now Awards for Best Film.
