Saumya reacts to Shilpa’s sexual harassment allegations

If the controversy surrounding Kapil Sharma’s show wasn’t enough to rock the television industry, the latest buzz doing the rounds is that former ‘Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hain’ actress Shilpa Shinde has filed sexual harassment claims against the producer Sanjay Kohli.

Shinde, who left the &TV sitcom in haste said she was was harassed by co-producer, Binaifer Kohli and was not given a pay hike but the claims were refuted by Binaifer, who said she had received a pay increase twice. However, her recent allegations have shocked the television industry after filing a case sexual harassment against Sanjay.

Shinde’s previous co-star, Saumya Tandon told DNA India, “I strongly stand against any kind of sexual harassment of women at work or any place. Having said that, there was absolutely no communication between Shilpa and me about this. Personally, my interactions with my producer has been very professional and I didn’t face any problem. I can’t comment on Shilpa’s case as I am not aware about it.”
