‘Satyamev Jayate’ blasted by Rajasthan’s Health Minister

Aamir Khan’s TV show, ‘Satyamev Jayate’ has been criticised by Rajkumar Sharma, Rajasthan’s Health Minister. Sharma has come out and said that Khan is putting a sensationalist view on female foeticide.

As reported by Times of India, Sharma stated, “There was an impression that the government took action only after Aamir’s campaign, but I would like to highlight that we’ve already been working for the same. Budget announcements to check foeticide are there and several other steps are being taken.” Sharma has been angered by comments made that action was only taken after Khan’s show highlighting the problem.

Sharma also added, “Aamir himself has said that he is an entertainer and cannot work longer on one topic, that simply means what he is doing is for monetary gains.”

It has been reported by a TV channel��that Khan is getting Rs. 3 crore per episode and that he himself doesn’t see anything wrong with this amount.
