Satish Shah passed away; aged 74

Legendary Indian actor Satish Shah, best known for his iconic roles in ‘Sarabhai vs Sarabhai’, ‘Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro’, and ‘Main Hoon Na’, has sadly passed away at the age of 74 due to kidney failure. He was admitted to Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai, where he breathed his last.

With a career spanning over four decades, Shah was celebrated for his impeccable comic timing and versatility across television and film. His filmography includes memorable performances in ‘Kal Ho Naa Ho’, ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’, ‘Om Shanti Om’, ‘Chalte Chalte’, ‘Karan Arjun’, and ‘Bhootnath’, among many others.

His ability to elevate supporting roles with charm and humour made him a beloved figure in Indian cinema.
