‘Sarbjit’ to premiere today at Cannes Film Festival

The much awaited Omung Kumar biopic ‘Sarbjit’ is said to get the Cannes Film Festival treatment.

As reported by��Times of India, the film starring Randeep Hooda, Aishwarya Rai Bahchchan and Richa Chadha is all set to premiere today at this year’s film festival in Cannes. ��”Sarbjit’ is a story which needs to be told and Cannes is an esteemed platform to showcase it due to its varied audience. We are going to premier the film and hope to get a positive response from international viewers,” Kumar was reported revealing.

The film is based on the true story of a sister’s battle to bring her brother to justice, after he was wrongly accused of being a Indian RAW Agent.

The film will release worldwide on 20th May.
