‘SaraswatiChandra’ to end; ‘YHM’ to shift to 19:30

The popular love story ‘SaraswatiChandra’ will finally be coming to an after months of rumours, BizAsia sources can confirm.

The show, which is centred around Saras and Kumud, played by Gautam Rode and Jennifer Winget, is ending on Saturday 20th September.

While, ‘SaraswatiChandra’ has remained a popular show amongst international fans in particular UK, ratings have dipped recently in India.

‘SaraswatiChandra’ was expected to end next month, however the channel had taken the call to wrap it up sooner than intended.

The vacant 19:30 slot will see the other much loved show ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ moving. The repeat telecast will air at 23:00. The change will be effective from Monday 22nd September.
