Sara Ali Khan: “I’m just very privileged to be working with different filmmakers”
The release of ‘Love Aaj Kal’ is just the beginning of an interesting list of films for Sara Ali Khan, including David Dhawan’s ‘Coolie No. 1’ and Aanand L Rai’s ‘Atrangi Re’.
Describing her experience on ‘Coolie No. 1’, Khan shared, “David sir’s set is like a fireball of energy. It’s like, you know, back to the ’90s. So it’s been a real fun time on that set. I personally have a very big crush on Karisma Kapoor. I love her songs. And I’m so excited that I’ve had the opportunity to recreate that.”, Filmfare reported.
Khan will soon start working on ‘Atrangi Re’ with co-stars Akshay Kumar and Dhanush. Having a roster of top directors in her filmography is an honour for her, “Well, I think that at this age and stage in my career, I’m just very privileged to be working with different filmmakers… And as far as working with Aanand Ji is concerned, I think much like Imtiaz (Ali) sir, he writes very, very beautiful characters. I can’t talk much about it right now. But I’m lucky and privileged again to have an opportunity to work with him.”, she shared.
‘Love Aaj Kal’ releases on 14th February.
