Sara Ali Khan: “I aspire to be very versatile”

Sara Ali Khan is getting set for her second release ‘Simmba’ which releases on Friday. After her first release ‘Kedarnath’ gave her rave reviews, she’s going commercial with a Rohit Shetty movie for her second. However, this is something she’s very conscious of.

The actress told Asian Age, about ‘Simmba’, “It’s a commercial Hindi film. Of course, the role is not as meaty as Kedarnath and I hope my fans won’t be disappointed. I aspire to be very versatile”.

She goes on to add, “I’ve just started out. I don’t have fans. My well-wishers should know I am here to do all kinds of work. Will I cherish my author-backed role in Kedarnath for the rest of my life? Yes, I will. But dancing with Ranveer Singh as Neha Kakkar does my playback is also my dream come true”.

On both of the experiences of her first films, she concludes, “An actor does every film in the hope of success and in the hope of learning something new. I’ve learnt a lot from working in both Kedarnath and Simmba”.
