Sanya Malhotra to play Vidya Balan’s daughter in Shakuntala Devi biopic?

With the news of Vidya Balan having been signed to essay the role of mathematician Shakuntala Devi, further reports suggest that Sanya Malhotra is now being suggested to play her daughter.

“Sanya has liked the story and being a huge Vidya fan is keen to share the screen with her but she has yet to sign on the dotted line. The film will roll this year,” Mumbai Mirror reports a source revealing.

Having landed a space in the Guinness World Book of Records in 1982, Shakuntala Devi was also known as a ‘human computer’. She was the author of a number of books on number’s, puzzles and mathematics.
