Sanjay & Maanyata Dutt receive legal notice on ‘Prasthanam’ Hindi remake

Sanjay and Maanyata Dutt have been implicated in a legal notice issued by Shemaroo Entertainment on Monday, over production rights for the Hindi remake of the beloved Telugu movie ‘Prasthanam’.

The film’s director Deva Katta has also been implicated in the legal dispute, and so it is now up to the three to come up with a response within 72 hours upon receiving the notice.

Ketan Maroo, speaking on behalf of Shemaroo Entertainment, has spoken on the dispute to SpotboyE, saying, “Yes, we have sent the legal notice. Your information is absolutely correct.

We obviously will demand a certain amount. The rights of Prasthanam belong to us and we had brought them from Gemini.”

Continuing, Maroo expressed, “We have no intentions of creating a needless issue. We are ready to sit across the table and resolve the issue.”
