Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s effigies burnt

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next ‘Padmavati’ is still under attack by the Shri Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena group, this time in Nalasopara, Mumbai.

Reported in the Times Of India, recent events involved effigies of Bhansali being burnt by the group, though no official statement has been released from the Bhansali Production house.

It’s only been two months since the first incident on the sets of ‘Padmavati’ in Jaigarh Fort in Jaipur, where Bhansali was physically assaulted and much of the equipment had been damaged. Then this week the set in Masai Pathar area in Kholapur was torched, resulting in huge losses again. All this outrage started when the Karni Sena group learnt that an intimate scene between Padmavati and Allauddin Khilji is to be shown in the film.
