Sanjay Leela Bhansali in legal hassle

It’s official! ‘Rowdy Rathore’ (2012) is a blockbuster. While the cast and crew celebrate, one man is in no mood to join the celebrations; producer, Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

He has been slapped with a legal notice for remaking the ‘Chinta Ta’ song.

After buying the rights of the Telugu film ‘Vikramarkudu’ (2006) Bhansali didn’t realise that the music rights of the film were with a Hyderabad music label, Aditya Music, and had to be bought separately. He then went and discussed the issue with co-producers, UTV, but they said it was Bhansali’s responsibility to check all legalities and refused to help in the matter.

Bhansali opted for an out of court settlement instead of stretching the process and paid the sum of Rs. 5 crore to the music label out of his own pocket.

Well, it seemsthe song, composed in Hindi by Sajid-Wajid, is not just a rage but hascome at a heavy price.
