Sanjay Leela Bhansali: “Bajirao Mastani is incomplete without Priyanka Chopra”

Sanjay Leela Bhansali has spoken about the importance of Priyanka Chopra’s character in ‘Bajirao Mastani’ even though Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone play the lead parts in the magnum opus. Bhansali said that its actually Chopra’s character who plays the lead in the film and it would be incomplete without her.

As according to Pinkvilla, Bhansali said, “She (Priyanka Chopra) is very much playing the lead in the film, I know my film’s name is Bajirao Mastani, but Kashibai is as important as my Bajirao and Mastani. The story is incomplete without her.”

There are also rumors of Chopra also being apart of Bhansali’s next, ‘Gustaakhiyan’. Chopra is currently in Canada, shooting for her ABC series, ‘Quantico’ (2015).
