After blowing hot and cold with each other on numerous occasions, filmmaker Sanjay Gupta and Vivek Oberoi have put aside their differences and made up.

While the two worked together in the hit ‘Shootout At Lokhandwala’, Oberoi was not able to commit to the sequel ‘Shootout At Wadala’. Things have since been frosty between each other. Recently, when the two met at the Bombay Times party, they both hugged and let bygones be bygones.

Talking to Times Of India, Oberoi said, “I was offered to play Dawood’s role in Shootout At Wadala which is now being played by Sonu Sood. Sanjay Gupta was upset and I always said he is a great filmmaker, a great guy and it’s a great film but it was not the right role for me. I had to choose between that and doing Krrish 3 and the dates were the same. I was much happier doing Krrish 3 as it was an iconic role. He was a little upset about it. I had not liked the role when he had narrated it to me and he re-wrote it, which I still did not like, so I quit. It was very sweet of him when I met him at the Bombay Times party after my son was born and he gave me a big hug. He wished the best for my son and I wished the same for his baby boy.'”
