Filmmaker Sanjay Gupta is in the midst of promotions for his upcoming film ‘Kaabil’ but that hasn’t stopped him giving his opinion about the industry.
Gupta, who up until now has remained hush about the clash between his film and ‘Kaabil’, told Asian Age, “It’s very unfortunate. It doesn’t happen in Hollywood at all. I feel like a lot more needs to be done here, because we get so easily twisted by political organisation. Also, we as an industry are not united. Take the producers’ body for instance — we have four different producers’ bodies! If we were united, I am sure all of these things would not happen.”
He added, “We have four or five superstars, can’t we get five Fridays in a year? I am sure they can easily find five Fridays in a year. It’s unfortunate, it’s sad and there’s only so much one can do.”
