Over the weekend, Sanjay Dutt was admitted into hospital due to breathing issues but was later discharged after making some recovery on Monday.
However, it has been reported that plans to complete the patchwork on Karan Malhotra’s next ‘Shamshera’ helmed by Yash Raj Films may need to be deferred due to Dutt’s health. Mid-Day reports that Ranbir, who also stars in the film, was keen to finish the film at the newly erected set at Anderi studio.
A source told the publication, “Sanjay sir has only three days’ work remaining. While he was discharged yesterday, the doctors have advised him to avoid strenuous activities. He will rest it out for four to five days before reporting to work.”
