Sanjay Dutt to make television debut

Bollywood superstar, Sanjay Dutt is the latest from the film fraternity to agree to front a new television show.

While details are being kept of the under wraps, reports suggest that the programme will air on Sony Entertainment Television Asia. Earlier there was speculation that Sanjay was going to replace Salman Khan as host of ‘Dus Ka Dum’ on the same channel but this has been denied.

The show will not be of an international format but something which has been written as a fresh concept for the popular actor. The Times Of India quoted inside sources as saying Sanjay is already in advanced talks with the channel and the modalities are fast being worked out. The channel has reportedly already commissioned producers and writers who are now meeting with Sanjay.

An official spokesperson told the newspaper, “Sanju sir would love to host a game show this year. Talks are on with many channels. We shall make an official announcement as soon as everything is finalised.”
