Sanjay Dutt opts out of ‘Total Dhamaal’ due to adult content

Sanjay Dutt has bowed out of the ‘Dhamaal’ franchise after citing date issues and moreover the next installment’s adult comedy references.

According to Hindustan Times, Dutt pulled out of Indra Kumar’s ‘Total Dhamaal’ as he did not want his children to see him in any comedy with adult content. A source told the publication, “He wasn’t keen on the film’s content revolving around adult comedy. Dutt is leaving no stone unturned to make up for all the lost time with his three children, Shahraan, Iqra and Trishala. He doesn’t want them to see him in an adult comedy film.”

Also Dutt has his hands full until way into 2018 with ‘Bhoomi’, ‘Torbaaz’ and ‘Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster’ next in the offing for the superstar.

“The reason for moving out is essentially due to the actor’s dates coinciding with other projects. The actor has his calendar blocked until the shoot of the third instalment in the Saheb Biwi Aur Gansgeter film series, followed by Torbaaz,” the source adds.
