Madhuri Dixit Nene and Sanjay Dutt will be sharing the screen after 22 years in ‘Kalank’ and both actors loved working together again.
Speaking about the reunion, Dutt shared, “It was wonderful just to be with Madhuri and to perform again, I mean it was amazing. We got this particular dramatic scene together. She has always been that powerful actor and now she has kind of evolved, grown in time as a great actor.”, adding that they bond over their parenthood now, “Kids, their schooling and family become subjects of conversation between us”, India Today reported.
Dixit also shared similar sentiments during the trailer launch, “It was fate. We were meant to work together. All these actors are great at what they do. Sanjay has always been great. These characters are really grounded and have great back stories. The kind of experiences they have had and the way the lives of all these characters are intertwined is really interesting.”
The star-studded cast of ‘Kalank’ also includes Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Sonakshi Sinha and Aditya Roy Kapur. The film will release on 17th April.
