Sanjay Dutt granted 14-day medical leave from prison
Sanjay Dutt has been granted a 14-day leave by Pune’s Yerawada Central Jail authorities to get medical treatment for his leg.
The actor pleaded with the media to respect his privacy during his time at home. He said, “I’m a law abiding citizen. Want to spend this time peacefully with my family.”
Dutt is serving time for his role in the 1993 Mumbai blasts. He was convicted for possession of an automatic rifle and a pistol that were supplied to him by men subsequently convicted for the bomb blasts.
